What Do the Parents think?

The students have gone on their summer holidays and we thought it would be a good time to go back and find out what the parents think and how our course has affected their kids.

Aaron Donald, one of our best attenders, has made some fantastic progress this year. He has really developed under the discipline and has made progress with his maturity.

We asked Aaron’s mother to give us a brief run down on how she thought the course has benefited him and she had the following to say.

"My son Joined QPD from school in Sept 17 as he wants to join the Army.

QPD has given Aaron the confidence to believe in his abilities through a positive and constructive environment that encourages growth and self discipline both in the classroom as well as physical training through drills and exercises.

Aaron has encountered many challenges through QPD that have kept him engaged and determined to do the best he can.

In this last year alone he has had the opportunity to fly in helicopters with the RAF, take part in night training exercises with the Army, race in speed boats with the Royal Marines, had fun in a mud run and a water assault course as well as spending a couple of days at an Army camp learning basic training skills.

Aaron has loved his time with QPD, he’s excelled in his fitness, been supported in the things he found difficult, made friends in a small team environment which I’m sure will last for years.

His tutors are supportive of his aspirations and work hard to ensure that each team member fulfils their goals set to enable them to get the very best out of their time in QPD and their careers beyond.

At the end of the year Aaron has grown into a confident young man who can hold presentations in front of a large crowd and has earn the respect of his peers through his team work and can do attitude that has been instilled in him by the QPD team. Thank you for believing in him."

We would just like to thank Aaron and his parents for the kind words and we look forward to having him back with us next year!
